Robert
L. Harris – Agency Principal
Upon graduation from Vanderbilt
University, Robert began his career in 1980 in the
Surety Department
of USF&G. In 1985, Robert joined the Martin A. Hayes
Agency, which subsequently was purchased by Marsh & McLennan.
In 1992, Robert joined the Thornton & Harwell Agency
until the formation of RLH Agency, LLC in 1997. Robert
has served as a Board Member of the Associated General
Contractors of Middle Tennessee, Construction Financial
Management Association, Agent’s Advisory Council
of the Associated Builders & Contractors, and Chairperson
of the Insurance Committee for the Tennessee Road Builders
Association. |
Patricia
Phipps – Agency
Principal
Pat is a 28 year industry veteran
working in Company Underwriting and Agency Brokerage
Management. She is active with the Construction
Financial Management Association and currently serves on
the
Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Workers’ Compensation
Appeals Board. She also is a Board Member of the State
of Tennessee Road Builders Mutual Fund Insurance Program.
Pat
assists in
the day to day servicing of the RLH Agency Construction
book of business. |
David
Miles – Marketing Manager
David joined the Agency in
2001 to enhance the Agency’s marketing efforts.
He has 35 years of experience specializing in the
underwriting of
construction risks. Prior to joining the Agency, he was
previously Underwriting Manager for General Accident
Insurance Company, managing $80 million in premium,
and Harleysville
Insurance Company, managing $40 million in premium. |
Joe
Williams – Bond Manager
Joe Williams has 33 years of
experience in the Surety Bond business, and was the
Surety Bond Manager
for CNA for seven years prior to joining RLH in June
2004. Joe is responsible for the Marketing and
servicing of the Agency’s 70+ Construction Bond accounts. |
Robbie
Davis – Account Manager
Robbie has been in the industry
for 23 years as a Customer Service Representative
and has been
with the Agency for 9 years. Prior to joining RLH, Robbie
was a CSR with the Thornton and Harwell Agency for
15 years. |
Jeff
Corvin – Account Manager & Claims
Coordinator
Jeff joined our Agency in 2008
with over 30 years' commercial insurance
experience as a Property and Casualty Underwriter
with national and regional
carriers, and most recently as an Account Manager
with First Horizon
Insurance Group in Nashville. |
Glenda
Bingham – Accounting Manager
Glenda has 32 years of Agency accounting
experience and was previously the Accounting Manger for
the Fridrich Agency prior to joining RLH in
August, 2006. |
Johnnie
Love – Marketing Assistant
Johnnie has 35 years of agency
marketing experience and was previously a marketing
assistant with the Thornton and Harwell Agency before
joining RLH in May, 2004. |
